Privacy Policy

• Identity data: passport (number, name, dates, photo page) and Aadhaar. Your Aadhaar number is stored masked (last 4 digits only). We do not retain the full number.
• Personal data: name, date of birth, email, phone, address, nationality.
• Financial snapshot: self-declared balances and income used to compute your Readiness Score.
• Derived data: OCR-extracted fields, readiness signals and score, document-check results.
• Document scans you upload (passport, Aadhaar, and vault documents).

To extract and verify your details, build your personalised document checklist, cover letter and pre-filled form, compute your Readiness Score, process payments, and (with your consent) contact you about your application outcome to improve our guidance.

To read your documents we use third-party AI sub-processors that may process data on servers outside India:

• Anthropic (Claude), USA. Reads your uploaded passport/Aadhaar images to extract fields (authenticated, stored flow).
• Google (Gemini), USA. Powers the optional pre-signup "preview" demo (not stored) and writes the plain-language explanation of your score from already-computed figures.

We ask for your explicit consent at the point of upload before any document is sent for AI processing. We do not sell your data or use it to train third-party models beyond serving your request.

• Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
• Uploaded document scans are automatically deleted 30 days after upload.
• Abandoned draft applications are purged after prolonged inactivity, and the raw financial figures in old readiness records are scrubbed on a schedule.
• Identity documents and PII are never sent to our error-monitoring tools.

We share data only with the sub-processors named above and the payment processor (Razorpay) as needed to deliver the service, and where required by law. Authorised Unbordr staff may access your file to review documents; every such access is recorded in an audit log.

• Access and portability. Download everything we hold on you from Account Settings ("Download my data").
• Correction. Edit your details in the app at any time.
• Erasure. Delete your account from Account Settings; this permanently removes your applications, documents, scores and scans.
• Withdraw consent. You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time.
